Award-Winning Musical Group Big Bad Gina to Perform in Your Area!

(Fayetteville, AR) – With their unique blend of harmonies, and their eclectic musical selections, “Northwest Arkansas’ Best New Band” Big Bad Gina has hit the Fayetteville music scene with a bang, often bringing down the house with their laid-back, yet powerfully energetic performances.  Their debut CD, “Amazon Warrior Princess” has received critical acclaim, and includes all original songs with something for everyone.

Big Bad Gina is most certainly the real deal.  The experience recording them threw me back on my heels…Their performance level was and is most definitely top notch. The three of their writing styles provide a range of dynamics that keep you guessing and connected at the same time. - Darren Crisp, recording engineer. Crisp Recording Studios  www.crisprecording.com

Bringing a unique blend of styles and musical influences, Big Bad Gina’s performances are toe-tapping and inspiring, leaving their audiences dancing in the aisles and asking for more.

Hearing [Big Bad Gina] playing covers of my songs makes me cry tears of joy! – Ingrid Michaelson

Renée Janski brings classical sensibilities and a powerhouse voice, having toured internationally as an opera star. Melodie Griffis adds a smooth jazz flavor with sweet harmonies and melodic guitar magic. Jori Costello completes the trio with acoustic folk/rock poetry and passion. Each “Gina” is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, and together they give their audiences what they want – jazz, folk, hard rock with a soft twist, reggae, bluegrass and funk.

BIG in range, BAD in the best way, GINA has songs to sing and something to say. This is what happens when energy and enthusiasm meet with talent and creativity.  You can listen to what each of these three women individually brings to the mix, but what you’ll hear is bigger and ‘badder’ than the sum of the parts.  Serious fun! – a fan.

Big Bad Gina has been busy promoting their new CD and headlining regional music festivals, including Strowlerfest, Gaea Goddess Gathering, and the 2009 and 2010 Fayetteville Goddess Festivals.

Weaving harmonies with pitch-perfect excellence, bringing multiple instruments to life with technical precision and a sexy flair, the women of BBG with their engaging performance and versatile talent, sing to our souls and strengthen our hearts. We will forever be fans. – Ginger Doss and Bekah Kelso from GBmojo.
